Description:
Project for one of the largest multinational corporations that specialize in Internet-related services. The project consisted of two independent multi-service/multi-cluster applications focused on advertising technologies and analytics. Applications used many Google APIs and Cloud Platform services, such as Kubernetes orchestration system, Cloud Storage (including storage triggers), Cloud Functions, Cloud Scheduler, Pub/Sub communication, Big Query, CloudSQL (Postgres), Google App Scripts, Google Ads API, Google Adwords API
Requirements:
- Strong JavaScript expertise and 5+ years of experience working as an engineer
- The high degree of comfort in Javascript, CSS and HTML.
- Experience with Angular framework.
- Experience shipping complex and well-tested UI’s
- Effective communicator, and have experience writing and reviewing code in a team setting using source control software like Git
- Motivated by writing fast, scalable code with testability in mind
- Excited by working in a fast-paced environment
Nice to have
- Have worked with distributed/remote teams
- Familiar with functional programming paradigms and enjoy writing functional JavaScript
- Experience with typed JavaScript (Flow/TypeScript)
- Experience with contemporary JavaScript web/build tools (NPM/Yarn, Babel, Webpack/Rollup, etc.)
- Experience with SCSS, Sass, or Less
- Worked with project management software like JIRA
Job Responsibilities:
- Developing new modules and features
- Fixing defects
- Writing unit tests
- Performing code review
- Testing the code on all levels (unit, integration, system, e2e)
- Take part in calls with customer
