Description

We are a cross-functional international team collaborating across the globe on a major insurance product with integrated e-billing functionality.

We are seeking a highly skilled IaC Engineer with a foundational understanding of database administration to join our infrastructure team. The ideal candidate will focus on leveraging modern Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform, Puppet, and other automation frameworks to streamline deployment, configuration, and operations. While this role is primarily centered on infrastructure automation, a basic familiarity with Oracle databases will be helpful for supporting related infrastructure tasks.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience with Puppet (Enterprise or Open Source).

• Solid experience in Infrastructure as Code concepts and tools.

• Proficiency in shell scripting (Bash or similar).

• Familiarity with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI, CircleCI).

• Experience with Linux system administration.

• Understanding of networking, security, and monitoring in DevOps contexts.

• Good grasp of version control systems, especially Git.

• Ability to document and communicate infrastructure changes clearly.

Job responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) solutions using Puppet.
• Manage configuration drift and ensure consistency across environments.
• Collaborate with DevOps, SRE, and application teams to implement scalable and secure infrastructure.
• Automate provisioning, deployment, and compliance tasks for cloud and on-premise systems.
• Troubleshoot and optimize existing Puppet manifests and modules.
• Integrate Puppet workflows with CI/CD pipelines.
• Write and maintain shell scripts for operational tasks and automation.
• Support continuous improvement of infrastructure management practices.
