GlobalLogic is searching for a motivated, results-driven, and innovative software engineer to join our project team at a dynamic startup specializing in pet insurance. Our client is a leading global holding company that is dedicated to developing an advanced pet insurance claims clearing solution designed to expedite and simplify the veterinary invoice reimbursement process for pet owners.

You will be working on a cutting-edge system built from scratch, leveraging Azure cloud services and adopting a low-code paradigm. The project adheres to industry best practices in quality assurance and project management, aiming to deliver exceptional results.

Requirements

– 6+ years of commercial experience as frontend developer.

– Strong expertise in vanilla JavaScript (ES6+), ReactJS, React Hooks, and functional components. Experience with Redux, React Context, or other state management libraries.

– Solid understanding of fetching and handling data from RESTful interfaces.

– Experience with Git and Azure DevOps (AZDO) pipelines.

– Familiarity with lazy loading, code splitting, and frontend performance best practices.

– Experience with unit testing (Jest, React Testing Library) and browser debugging tools.

– Good practical knowledge of Agile methodologies and ability to work effectively in a sprint-based development cycle.

– Ability to write well-structured technical documentation, including UI component libraries and API interactions.

– Prior experience in medical software development or regulated environments is an advantage.

– Good communication and presentation skills in English and ability to work as a standalone unit in close cooperation with the Client’s team representatives.

Job responsibilities

GlobalLogic team is expanding and we are looking for Senior React Frontend Engineer to fullfill the role in a new substream of overall engagement with our client. Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

– Be a main point of contact for the frontend development.

– Cooperate with Product Owners and UX/UI Designers regarding project scope and requirements.

– Collaborate to multiple engineering teams working on various parts of the Product.

– Work closely with architects and backend engineers to define clear data contracts.

– Design and develop new features and support of existing components.

– Participate in Agile/Scrum development cycles, including sprint planning, backlog refinement, and daily standups.

– Own the customer experience by ensuring their needs are consistently met with creativity and a results-driven approach.

– Work on post-launch support and maintenance, addressing UI bugs, inconsistencies, and performance issues.

– Take proactive steps to resolve customer challenges with a startup mindset, balancing speed and quality. Actively participate in discussions, share ideas, and drive towards shared goals.

– Adopt and contribute to a forward-thinking architectural approach that solves for current and future customer needs. Continuously evolve the technical strategy to align with the broader goals and vision.

– Demonstrate a high level of ownership by taking initiative to address challenges and deliver outcomes without requiring supervision.
