Description

Hands-on experience with AWS and GCP cloud services and console management.
Strong understanding and experience managing Active Directory environments.
Proficient with Windows Server and Linux (Red Hat, Ubuntu, CentOS) system administration.
Skilled with Ansible playbooks for automation.
Experience with Terraform for provisioning and managing cloud and on-prem resources.
Familiarity with AWS MSK including setup, configuration, and monitoring.
Deep understanding of Redis Cluster architecture, replication, and failover.
Proficient in scripting (Bash, Python) for automation and operational tasks.
Practical experience with on-prem data center and VMware ESXi hypervisor management.
Experience deploying and managing infrastructure monitoring and alerting solutions, specifically Datadog:
Setting up Datadog agents and integrations
Real-time dashboards for infrastructure, cloud, and application monitoring
Alert and anomaly detection configurations
Log aggregation and analysis
Correlating metrics, traces, and logs for full-stack observability

Job Overview:
Seeking a skilled Infrastructure Engineer with comprehensive experience in cloud platforms, on-premises environments, automation tools, and monitoring solutions. The ideal candidate will manage, deploy, and optimize infrastructure spanning AWS, GCP, Active Directory, Redis Cluster, AWS MSK, Windows/Linux OS, VMware ESXi, and maintain automation and monitoring across these systems using Ansible, Terraform, Scripting, and Datadog.

Job responsibilities

Key Responsibilities:
Design, deploy, and manage cloud infrastructure on AWS and Google Cloud Platform.
Administer and maintain Active Directory environments for identity management and access control.
Manage Windows and Linux server operating systems including installation, patching, and troubleshooting.
Develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform and configuration management with Ansible.
Operationalize AWS MSK (Managed Streaming for Kafka) and Redis Clusters for high availability and scalability.
Write and maintain automation scripts using Bash and/or Python to streamline operational tasks.
Oversee on-premises data center infrastructure including VMware ESXi virtualization.
Implement and manage infrastructure monitoring, alerting, and observability using Datadog.
Collaborate with development and security teams to ensure infrastructure meets performance, security, and compliance standards.
Troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure issues proactively, minimizing downtime.
Participate in capacity planning, disaster recovery exercises, and infrastructure upgrades.
