Our client is a leading supplier of highly specialised software and expertise for financial institutions and corporations. Their main product, called Dimension, is a modular system that offers a complete solution for the investment management of banks, asset managers and insurance companies. The basis for their complex software is excellent financial services know-how and a very good understanding of the individual requirements of their customers. About the role:

Our client is experiencing a substantial increase in business globally and to support their growth, we are looking for a Global Support Consultant. This is a truly global role, based in our Mexico office. In this key role, you will work with all our client’s customers and provide business support and solutions to overcome issues encountered by such customers. You will also prepare examples for developers to work on in their internal systems in case of code defects.

Requirements:

Qualifications:

  • A degree in finance/economics/mathematics/computer science.
  • 5 years‘ experience within asset management, insurance, superannuation funds, funds management or custodian (experience with our client’s Dimension platform is an advantage).
  • Good communication & people skills.
  • You have excellent analytical skills and are used to working in a structured way.
  • You are good at working on & prioritising multiple tasks at the same time.
  • Knowledge or high interest in financial issues – theoretical as well as practical.
  • You have experience in the financial sector in back office operations.
  • You are service-minded and have the ability to thrive under pressure.
  • You enjoy working in a team.

Job Responsibilities:

  • You will be the key contact for some our client’s clients regarding production support & consultancy and help manage the relationship.
  • You will also be able to give our client’s customers good advice and propose ad-hoc solutions within the framework of their Dimension platform.
  • You may be assigned to lead and perform consulting work on client-based projects.
  • You will maintain close contact and communicate errors & enhancement requests with local development staff and our colleagues in our client’s central Development Division in Copenhagen.
  • You will have solid experience in either Front Office, Portfolio Analytics, Financial instruments (incl. instrument pricing), Corporate Actions, Settlement, Accounting/Fund Accounting or Data Management/Integration.
  • You will be trained and mentored to become an expert in your field.
  • You will support the local professional services teams from time to time.
  • You will be based in Mexico and will be required to work on weekends/Public Holidays from time to time. Working extended hours might also be required on occasion.
  • We are servicing our clients on a 24/5 basis and have three distinct shifts: APAC, EMEA and NA.
