Requirements
Requirements:
- Deep experience with Python. At least 4 years of experience
- Good experience with CI tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI, Gerrit).
- Work experience with the Migration process and Confirmation/Maintenance Testing
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to communicate clearly and collaborate in a team-oriented environment.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Electronics, or related field.
Nice to have:
- Hands-on experience with C, C++, or Java, particularly in the context of code analysis, automated testing, or CI/CD pipelines.
- Understanding of language-specific project structures and build systems.
Job responsibilities
- Migrate existing commit check tools and components into a unified pre-commit framework to ensure consistent code quality checks.
- Replace current Git hooks with standardized or newly developed pre-commit hooks, reusing existing logic where applicable.
- Refactor CI commit check wrappers and integrate them into pre-commit or other relevant tooling to streamline developer workflows.
- Support the migration from GitLab to Gerrit, ensuring that automated commit verification and quality gates are preserved and enhanced.
- Maintain and optimize automated test environments using CI/CD tools such as Jenkins and GitLab CI, enabling fast feedback loops.
- Collaborate with developers and DevOps engineers to integrate automated checks early in the development lifecycle.
- Investigate, troubleshoot, and resolve issues related to automated tests and commit checks.
