Customer is a healthcare IT security company. It provides healthcare companies with a platform that addresses critical compliance and security challenges and helps to improve providers’ productivity.
The goal is to create a SaaS product from ground up in a public cloud framework.
Job summary:
The Customer Success Engineer (CSE) ensures customers achieve maximum value from customer’s Privileged Access Security (PAS) platform. Acting as a trusted technical advisor, the CSE combines deep technical expertise with strong customer engagement to drive adoption, optimize deployments,
and ensure long-term platform success. This role partners closely with Customer Success Managers, Support, Engineering, and Product to deliver proactive guidance, resolve complex technical challenges, and align PAS capabilities with customer business goals.
Duties and Responsibilities:
• Advise customers on Customer’s PAS solutions, including architecture, configuration, best practices, and integration points.
• Provide deep technical and application expertise to support post-sales adoption and ongoing optimization.
• Serve as a technical escalation point for advanced PAS questions and challenges.
• Develop, document, and share best practices across customers and internal teams.
• Partner with Product Management and Engineering to relay customer feedback, influence the roadmap, and help shape new features.
• Guide customers to become confident, self-sufficient users of the platform.
• Collaborate cross-functionally to ensure customer issues are resolved with urgency and professionalism.
• Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of experience as a technical subject matter expert in a customer-facing role (TAM, Solutions Engineer, Support, Consultant, etc.).
• Strong background in Privileged Access Management or Privileged Access Security technologies.
• Demonstrated ability to communicate complex technical concepts to both technical and executive-level audiences.
• Strong organizational, multitasking, and time-management skills.
• Proven ability to navigate and resolve challenging customer situations.
• Experience teaching, coaching, or consulting on technical solutions.
• Technical skills including, but not limited to:
o Proficiency in SQL and relational databases.
o Experience with Microsoft Windows and Linux OS.
o Familiarity with Linux command line.
Desired qualifications:
• Knowledge of LDAP, Group Policy, Microsoft Active Directory, and domain integration design.
• Experience with password managers, vaults, and/or credential management solutions.
• Exposure to virtualization technologies such as VMware or Citrix.
• Working knowledge of TCP/IP, HTTP, SSL, and related network protocols.
• Cloud platform exposure (Azure, AWS, GCP).
• Comfort reading API logs.
• Security certifications (CISSP, Security+, etc.) or PAM-specific certifications are a plus.
