This position will be instrumental in managing data subject requests (DSRs/DSARs) and maintaining our Records of Processing Activities (RoPA), ensuring compliance with key data privacy regulations such as GDPR, CCPA/CPR. The ideal candidate is a highly organized, detail-oriented professional with a passion for data privacy and a strong desire to learn and grow within a dynamic data governance environment.

Requirements

  • Bachelor`s degree in a relevant field (e.g., Information Systems, Business Administration, Legal Studies, Data Science) or equivalent practical experience.
  • 1-3 years experience in data governance, data privacy, compliance, legal operations, or a related role.
  • Demonstrated understanding of key data privacy regulations and their operational implications.
  • Experience managing/contributing to Data Subject Access Request (DSAR/DSR) fulfillment processes.
  • Experience with Records of Processing Activities (RoPA) or similar data inventory/mapping documentation.
  • Exceptional organizational skills with a meticulous attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Strong written and verbal communication, capable of explaining complex concepts clearly and concisely.
  • Proficiency in using standard office software (e.g., Google Workspace, Microsoft Office).
  • Ability to quickly learn and adapt to new technologies and data governance/privacy management tools.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders.

Job responsibilities

  • Coordinate with relevant internal departments (e.g., Legal, IT, Security, Business Units);
  • Develop, populate and maintain client’s of Records of Processing Activities (RoPA);
  • Collaborate with data owners and system owners to gather necessary information regarding data processing activities, data flows, and data sharing;
  • Support the implementation of data governance and privacy policies;
  • Create practical guides, FAQs, and training materials to facilitate policy adoption;
  • Contribute to data quality monitoring efforts, identifying issues and supporting remediation initiatives;
  • Assist in maintaining the data catalog by ensuring accurate metadata and documentation of data assets;
  • Deliver internal training sessions and communications to promote a strong data governance and privacy culture;
  • Support the preparation of reports and documentation for internal and external audits;
  • Become a proficient user of our data governance and privacy management platforms (e.g., RoPA management software, DSR portals), providing support and administration.
