Description

We are seeking an experienced Senior Build / DevOps Engineer to join our R&D organization focused on Infotainment systems based on Android Automotive. In this role, you will be part of a collaborative and agile environment where teams develop a wide range of software‑centric features, including platform components, applications, audio, connectivity, entertainment, personalization, and vehicle functions.

You will contribute to the evolution of our development and delivery processes, working with Continuous Integration (CI) frameworks and tools that support our transition into a truly software‑driven organization.

This position is hybrid work (3 days in the office, 2 remote), based in Kraków.

Requirements

Education & Experience

• MSc or BSc degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.
• Several years of hands‑on experience working with large‑scale CI operations and deep understanding of developer needs in complex software environments.

Technical Skills

• Strong programming ability in Python or another high‑level language.
• Cloud & Infrastructure: Deep practical knowledge of Kubernetes, Envoy Proxy/Istio, and gRPC load balancing.
• Experience with public cloud platforms such as Azure and Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
• Solid hands‑on experience with Linux (Ubuntu) environments.
• DevOps Tooling: Proficiency with Terraform, Packer, Ansible, and Docker.
• Observability & Architecture: Familiarity with monitoring and observability tooling (e.g., Grafana, Prometheus) and core concepts such as autoscaling and high availability.

Nice to Have

• Experience with Airflow.
• Prior exposure to Android‑based systems or automotive platforms.

Job responsibilities

As a Senior Build / DevOps Engineer, you will:

• Infrastructure Management: Develop, maintain and evolve the cloud infrastructure that supports code flow and automated test pipelines.
• CI Architecture & Stability: Design and implement flexible, maintainable, and scalable solutions that improve the CI architecture and build pipeline stability.
• Innovation: Actively engage in technical discussions with your team and cross‑functional development groups to implement new ideas that improve overall system development.
• Collaboration: Work closely with international CI/DevOps teams and agile development teams to ensure scalable, reliable solutions are delivered.
• Support Developers: Provide guidance on build processes, automation best practices, and developer workflow improvements.
• Documentation: Create and maintain clear technical documentation for systems, infrastructure, and procedures.
