Requirements
- Understand requirements and automate routine tasks to reduce toiling.
- Ability to perform in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and be productive during production outages if they occur.
- Proficient in Python / Golang and shell scripting.
- Linux system administration skills.
- Solid understanding of containerization (docker) and experience with container orchestration environments preferably kubernetes.
- Experience in provisioning, managing, monitoring environments and workloads in the private and public cloud.
- Knowledge of Helm charts to deploy and manage microservices in Kubernetes clusters.
Preferred Requirements
- Understanding of monitoring tools like Prometheus/Grafana/Alertmanager etc.Experience with Networking data plane protocols would be an added advantage.
- Administer and monitor database (RDBMS) systems.
- Knowledge of source control systems (Git, SVN).
- Experience with backend APIs development and have knowledge of API testing.
- Working knowledge of front end web development frameworks (Angular / ReactJs).
Job responsibilities
- Debug and automate deployment problems typically found in aggregate systems built from multiple vendors like, HPE, Dell, Cisco, NetApp, Palo Alto, Thales etc.
- Hardware validation of the GDC Systems.
- Working closely with System Integrators and our partner teams to build, troubleshoot and mitigate issues using tools to reduce resolution time.
