Requirements
- Proven experience as an Embedded C/C++ developer.
- Strong knowledge of C++ (modern standards preferred).
- Experience with BLDC motor controller firmware or motor‑control systems.
- Ability to read and understand electronic schematics.
- Experience working on embedded Linux, network programming and communication protocols such as TCP/IP, CAN Bus, D‑BUS.
- Familiarity with Git, Jira, build processes (GNU make or similar).
- Understanding of software development lifecycle and methodologies (V‑Model, Agile).
- Basic knowledge of UML and embedded system design.
- Excellent communication skills in English, with comfort working in customer‑facing environments.
- Willingness to travel to BSH offices in Kosice and Michalovce.
Preferred / Nice‑to‑Have:
- Prior experience in motor‑control systems, drive firmware, or power‑electronics embedded development.
- Exposure to additional embedded platforms or real‑time operating systems (RTOS).
- Experience in the home‑appliance or industrial embedded domain.
Job responsibilities
- Analyse and investigate functional customer requirements and translate them into software specifications.
- Design application functionality and implement the design in C/C++.
- Develop, unit‑test and perform integration testing of embedded software modules.
- Collaborate with the customer’s engineers and internal project teams on current projects in the global/local (GL) environment.
- Interact directly with the customer regarding ongoing activities and project progress.
- Read and interpret electronic schematics to understand hardware/software interfaces, especially in motor‑control systems.
- Work with embedded Linux environments, network programming and communication protocols (TCP/IP, CAN Bus, D‑BUS).
- Use Git version control, Jira issue‑tracking, and established build systems (dMake → GNU make).
- Follow software development processes (V‑Model, Agile) and apply basic UML where applicable.
- Travel to BSH offices in Kosice and Michalovce as required.
