Join us and be our Support/QA Engineer for our client who is leading Internet and Telco services provider. Your responsibilities would be ranging from providing L1-L2 support up to testing of Internet Hardware.

The products are Residential Gateways, Wi-Fi Routers and Wi-Fi Extenders based on Embedded Linux and OpenWrt.

Main technologies:

Networking, IP protocols, Routing, Firewall, Wi-Fi
OpenWRT, Embedded Linux
TR-181 Data Model

* Experience as Customer Support Engineer in Telecom domain

* Experience with technical support / QA / data analysis/ development/ technical account management

* Strong experience in Network equipment (Cable, DSL, FTTH) and Linux services configuration (DNS/DHCP/Web/FTP/NTP services, dockers, etc)

* Ability to clearly communicate in English with users, co-workers, application developers and IT personnel both verbally and in writing.

* Strong HW/SW problem-solving and troubleshooting skills;

* Ability to perform log level analysis

* Good reporting and prioritization skills;

* Structured and process-oriented

* Exceptional troubleshooting, problem-solving, customer service, and analytical skills

* Self-learning ability, self-motivated and team player

* Computer Science fundamentals knowledge

* Good experience in manual testing

* Ambition to learn new systems, procedures, techniques in a short period of time

Job Responsibilities

* Functional testing of residential gateways

* Investigation of in-service technical problems, assembling information and performing root cause analysis.

* Validation of solutions to issues discovered with existing equipment in-service.

* Setup and provide remote access for L3 support engineers

* Develop troubleshooting guides and guide equipment operators in their use.
