The organization works with modern AI technologies including GitHub Copilot, Claude Code, Azure OpenAI, and MCP-based integrations connecting engineering tools such as Jira, Jama, and GitHub. The department combines platform engineering, AI architecture, governance, and developer enablement to operationalize secure and scalable AI solutions across global engineering teams.

Key focus areas include coding agents, multi-agent systems, prompt engineering, AI governance, workflow automation, and cloud-based AI platform deployment.

Requirements

The Embedded Gen AI Developer — Team Lead is a senior hands-on engineer who also carries
responsibility for leading a small group of embedded developers. This is not a management role — the
lead continues to contribute technically — but they coordinate work across the Stream B cohort,
maintain quality standards, and serve as the primary liaison between the embedded team and the
client’s engineering leads. The role is delivery-first: the lead is expected to produce working code and
agentic integrations alongside the team they guide. 

• Proven experience designing and implementing agentic workflows and multi-agent systems in
production
• Deep familiarity with tool-use patterns: function calling, MCP server design, structured output
parsing, and error recovery in agent pipelines
• Hands-on experience with GitHub Copilot at team scale and Claude Code for agentic code
generation
• Azure OpenAI integration experience — model selection, token management, prompt templating,
response handling
• Demonstrated team leadership in a delivery context — not project management, but technical
coordination and quality ownership
• Strong software engineering fundamentals: CI/CD, version control, code review, testing
practices

Preferred Background:
• Experience in automotive or industrial software delivery environments
• Familiarity with ASPICE and its requirements traceability expectations — understanding how
AI-assisted outputs (generated code, test cases, requirements) need to remain traceable within
the V-Model
• Awareness of ISO 26262 functional safety concepts — not certification-level expertise, but
enough to understand traceability and verification obligations for safety-relevant software
• Familiarity with Jira and Jama in requirements traceability or test management workflows
• Prior experience running a small embedded engineering team at a client site

Job responsibilities

Lead the day-to-day delivery of the Stream B embedded developer cohort (up to 6 FTE) within
client team workflows
• Design and implement agentic workflows and multi-agent system patterns directly in the client
codebase
• Own tool-use pattern design: define how AI agents interact with Jira, Jama, GitHub, and other
toolchains via MCP servers
• Coordinate work allocation, progress tracking, and escalation within the embedded cohort

• Maintain code quality standards and perform technical review of AI-generated and
human-written contributions
• Integrate AI capabilities across the full V-cycle — supporting requirements ingestion, code
generation, and verification/validation pipelines
• Report progress and surface blockers to the Supplier Engagement Lead and relevant client
contacts
