Description

You will design and build enterprise-grade applications that support Azara, our AI-driven data intelligence platform for commercial real estate, delivering robust, scalable solutions across the full technology stack. This role requires a hands-on engineer who can drive architectural decisions, own complex features end-to-end, and elevate team engineering standards.

Requirements

8+ years of professional software engineering experience with demonstrated full
stack expertise
– Strong proficiency in Java 21+ with hands-on experience in Spring Boot 3.x, Spring
WebFlux, and Spring Data
– Strong proficiency in React.js with TypeScript/JavaScript
– Experience with GraphQL development (Netflix DGS or similar) and schema
federation
– Experience with relational databases (PostgreSQL, SQL Server), schema
migrations (Liquibase), and caching (Redis)
– Solid understanding of RESTful API design, event-driven architecture (RabbitMQ,
Spring Cloud Stream), and microservices patterns
– Experience with Microsoft Azure cloud platform and cloud-native deployment
(Spring Cloud Kubernetes)
– Proficiency with Gradle, Git, CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps), and
containerization (Docker)
– Proficiency with AI-powered development tools (Cursor AI, GitHub Copilot, or
similar) for AI-augmented software development across the SDLC
– Demonstrated ability to design and develop AI agents or intelligent automation
solutions for enterprise application workflows
– Strong understanding of software design patterns, SOLID principles, and clean
architecture

Preferred Qualifications
– Experience with Kubernetes and cloud-native deployment in production
environments
– Experience with reactive programming (Project Reactor) and virtual threads
– Knowledge of CQRS patterns, audit trails (Hibernate Envers), and distributed
locking
– Experience with Okta/JWT authentication and RBAC patterns
– Knowledge of feature management platforms (LaunchDarkly or similar)
– Familiarity with .NET Core / C# for enterprise application maintenance and
integration

– Exposure to LLM integration, RAG pipelines, or agent orchestration frameworks

Job responsibilities

Key Responsibilities :
Full Stack Development
– Design and develop end-to-end features spanning React.js frontends and Java
backend services (Spring Boot 3.x, Java 21)
– Build responsive, accessible, and performant user interfaces using React.js,
TypeScript, and modern frontend frameworks
– Develop RESTful APIs and GraphQL services (Netflix DGS) for enterprise
application workflows with schema federation
– Implement robust authentication (Okta, JWT), authorization (RBAC), and security
patterns across the stack

Backend Architecture & Services
– Architect and build scalable Java services using Spring Boot 3.x with reactive
programming (WebFlux) and virtual threads
– Design and implement database schemas, migrations (Liquibase), and query
optimization for PostgreSQL and SQL Server
– Develop integration layers connecting enterprise applications with data platforms,
AI services, and third-party systems
– Build event-driven processing using RabbitMQ (Spring Cloud Stream) and
implement CQRS patterns where appropriate

Quality & Platform Engineering
– Implement comprehensive testing strategies: unit tests (JUnit, Mockito, Jest),
integration tests (Testcontainers), and E2E tests
– Design and maintain CI/CD pipelines (Gradle, GitHub Actions) for automated build,
test, and deployment workflows
– Containerize applications using Docker and manage cloud-native deployments on
Kubernetes (Spring Cloud Kubernetes)
– Set up application monitoring, alerting, and structured logging using Datadog or
similar observability platforms

AI Augmentation & Agent Development
– Leverage AI-powered development tools (Cursor AI, GitHub Copilot) across all
phases of the SDLC — from code generation and reviews to testing and
documentation
– Design and develop AI agents and intelligent automation for enterprise application
workflows (e.g., workflow automation agents, testing agents, data processing
agents)
– Identify opportunities to integrate AI capabilities into existing enterprise services
and engineering processes

Technical Leadership & Collaboration
– Lead code reviews and establish coding standards across both frontend and
backend codebases
– Mentor junior and mid-level engineers on Java/Spring best practices, design
patterns, and architecture
– Contribute to technical documentation, HLDs/LLDs, and architectural decision
records
– Collaborate with product managers, UX designers, DevOps engineers, and data
teams in Agile ceremonies
