Description

GlobalLogic estimates the starting base salary for the Lead Data Engineer remote role, with occasional travel to Charlotte, NC to be between $130,000 and $140,000 and reflects base salary only and does not include additional performance-linked variable compensation, benefits etc that may be applicable for the role. This pay range is provided as a good faith estimate and the amount offered may be higher or lower. GlobalLogic takes many factors into consideration in making an offer, including candidate qualifications, work experience, operational needs, travel and onsite requirements, internal peer equity, prevailing wage, responsibilities, and other market and business considerations.

Requirements

Expertise in Python, Spark,  SQL, ETL tools and methodologies, ensuring efficient data workflows.

Build and maintain cloud-based data pipelines on Azure, including orchestration, automation, and monitoring

Strong Technical Lead who will be able to manage the team

Job responsibilities

Implement data ingestion pipelines from diverse sources, ensuring large-scale structured and unstructured data transmission between systems.

Develop data aggregation pipelines that effectively feed analytic and reporting solutions.

Maintain scalable code that adheres to company standards and is thoroughly documented.

Participate actively in agile SCRUM ceremonies, including refinement, planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives.

Flushing out business requirements and adding acceptance criteria to user stories.

Engage in peer review code sessions to uphold code quality.

Communicate effectively with management regarding proposed solutions and challenges.

Supervise and resolve data issues, demonstrating creative problem-solving skills.

Maintain in-depth knowledge of the data ecosystem and trends, acting as a domain expert.

Recommend new tools to enhance the current stack and efficiently address data needs.
