Description

Our client is a big medical equipment manufacturer located in the United States. We have completed a lot of projects for them during the last 18+ years and continue our strong relationship. We are creating software information systems providing management and reporting capabilities for customer equipment in the field. Currently, we are extending our team to be able to start new generation projects and looking for a passionate and motivated Lead Test Automation Engineer with 6+ years of relevant experience. The right candidate must be a team player with strong communication and leadership skills, and be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements

• Experience in Test Automation 6+ years
• Solid experience with Java, Maven, TestNG, code patterns – inheritance, environmental properties, Page Object Mode
• Deep understanding of modern test automation patterns and standards
• Experience with Android and iOS device testing
• Experience with cross-device testing (ideally on multiplatform apps)
• Experience with grid/remote testing and automation on physical devices (more than just local emulators, ideally Browserstack/Saucelabs)
• Working knowledge of typical BE and API structures, tools like Postman, Swagger, ReadyAPI
• Hands-on experience with different types of test automation
• Excellent communication skills
• Analytical mind and problem-solving aptitude
• CI/CD setup experience
• Proven test design skills
• Strong understanding of modern test automation patterns and standards
• Good communication skills
• Good leadership skills
• Upper-Intermediate spoken and written English

Job responsibilities

“GlobalLogic team is seeking a Lead Test Automation Engineer / SDET with 6+ years of relevant experience.
The right candidate must be a team player with strong communication skills and be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
The successful candidate should possess the right mix of test automation experience with Java technical stack on a variety of different applications,
including mobile applications. A track record of developing/tuning test solutions or tools, and passion for designing and engineering
automated tests for enterprise software applications over multiple releases is required.

Participate in the creation of project-level artifacts
Coordinate with the team members to prioritize testing efforts
Estimate test automation activities
Plan and manage testing activities
Create/improve custom frameworks and tools (Java stack)
Perform code review
Investigate issues to provide accurate and reproducible info to the dev team
Strictly follow QMS procedures and processes
Provide status reports
Continuously improve testing on the project
Participate in QA Initiatives, collaborate with other test engineers
Mentoring test automation engineers”
