Description
• End-to-end quality across cloud web portals, APIs, and connected IoT devices.
• You will design, build, and maintain scalable automated test suites using Python, Playwright, and PyTest.
• Perform comprehensive functional UI testing for web portals and execute API validation for backend microservices.
• Conduct hands-on IoT hardware testing, validating edge sensor telemetry, hardware-to-cloud protocols, and firmware behavior.
Requirements
• Rapidly identify, adapt to, and master emerging technologies, hardware tools, and automation frameworks as product needs evolve.
• Partner closely with cross-functional software and hardware engineering teams to ensure seamless end-to-end system reliability.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Computer or Electrical Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field.
Job responsibilities
• Operate within fast-paced Agile sprint cycles, delivering thorough quality coverage under tight release turnarounds.
• Manage end-to-end test execution, defect tracking, and requirement traceability using Jira and Confluence.
• Leverage Xray for structured test management, reporting, and sprint regression tracking.
• Integrate automated test suites into continuous integration pipelines to support rapid, reliable deployment cycles.
GlobalLogic estimates the starting pay range for this role to be performed in Irving, TX to be $110,000 to $150,000 and reflects base salary only. This pay range is provided as a good-faith estimate, and the amount offered may be higher or lower. GlobalLogic takes many factors into consideration in making an offer, including candidate qualifications, work experience, operational needs, travel and onsite requirements, internal peer equity, prevailing wage, responsibilities, and other market and business considerations.
