Description
The client is a world-leading provider of telecommunication solutions to mobile & fixed network operators. GlobalLogic has a long and very successful partnership with this Company started back in 2002. GlobalLogic is building a team that will be responsible for a specific area – maintenance of products that are utilized by major US telecom operators.
Requirements
At least 4 years of hands-on experience:
– Strong technical QA experience
– Unix Shell scripting
– Command line
– Basic table manipulation. Proficiency in SQL
– Testing in a Waterfall environment
– Excellent skills in defining, documenting, and analyzing test strategy, test plan, test cases, and test results
– Excellent test case execution and troubleshooting skills
– Strong verbal and written communication skills; ability to work well across teams
– Strong analytical skills – understand business processes and issues from business users
– Proficient in client-server applications.
– Familiarity with working and configuring 3rd party software, understanding of J2EE.
Test Automation experience and experience in creating automated tests will be a plus.
Telecom Domain will be a plus.
Job Responsibilities
– Knowledge acquisition: learn assigned product to smallest details, become a good expert in the product
– Product test is responsible for providing an independent evaluation of the quality of the system, both software and documentation.
– Create, execute & review software test plans, test cases, and reports, as necessary.
– Product Test administration, maintenance, and support; oversee test case execution remains on plan; resolve defect roadblocks.
– Create defect reports, create an execution plan
– Perform system testing, regression testing
– Work closely with the Dev team and other stakeholders to understand the project goals and requirements.
– Basic table manipulation. Some proficiency in SQL
– Understand & test complex & integrated systems
