Description

The project focuses on creating a cutting-edge transportation system for medical laboratory specimens.
Drawing on extensive experience across the Industrial, Automotive, and Medical sectors, our team assists the client with R&D by building and enhancing simulation tools, refining software architecture, and developing advanced routing algorithms. These efforts aim to improve transport logic and maximize system reliability and throughput. Currently, the team is engaged in several workstreams, with a primary focus on software optimization, routing logic, and hardware integration.

Requirements

Minimum Qualifications:

  • A technical degree (BS/MS in Computer Science or Engineering) or a comparable background in practical experience.
  • A minimum of 5 years overseeing projects as a manager in the software industry (Agile and Waterfall), ideally within outsourcing or client-focused environments, following at least 3 years in an engineering role.
  • Proven track record of leading culturally diverse, distributed teams of more than 10 members.
  • Proficiency in financial and contractual management, including P&L oversight, budget control, and drafting Statements of Work for T&M and Fixed Price models.
  • Expertise in utilizing Jira for project governance, along with experience implementing communication strategies and change management.
  • Superior analytical and interpersonal skills, with a demonstrated ability to present and justify complex insights through clear messaging.
  • Advanced English proficiency with strong written and verbal communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Proven experience delivering projects within the Industrial or Medical sectors.
  • Hands-on background in C/C++ development.
  • Relevant certifications such as PMP, Scrum Master, or Product Owner.
  • Understanding of mathematical concepts, including linear algebra, statistics, probability theory, and algorithms.
  • Understanding of AI/ML fundamentals.

Job responsibilities

  • Assume total accountability for assigned project, overseeing the complete delivery lifecycle across multiple workstreams to hit milestones, exceed quality benchmarks, and fulfill strategic objectives for a 10+ member team.
  • Manage and refine project workflows using Agile methodologies, actively initiating and executing process improvements.
  • Lead team management efforts, including recruitment, onboarding, and ongoing performance evaluation and development.
  • Partner closely with internal and client-side stakeholders to manage expectations and ensure high levels of customer satisfaction.
  • Drive the setup of new teams and operational standards during project expansions or reconfigurations, acting as a Scrum Master when required.
  • Leverage software development expertise to guide technical discussions and architectural reviews, aligning engineering outputs with business goals set by the client and translating requirements into technical priorities.
  • Develop detailed program roadmaps, including key milestones, tactical plans, and deployment schedules.
  • Identify and address project risks proactively, implementing strategies to protect timelines and maintain superior quality standards.
  • Resolve blockers and complex technical issues while managing critical dependencies between internal and external groups.
  • Foster a results-driven culture of initiative and accountability, offering mentorship to help cross-functional teams achieve project goals.
  • Lead project ceremonies and meetings, delivering precise status reports and presentations to GlobalLogic and client leadership that articulate technical logic and strategy.
  • Support pre-sales activities and expertise development based on project experience.
  • Champion internal initiatives related to specific project areas of expertise.
