Required Experience & Skills

Must-Have
Strong communication and interpersonal skills and a teachable nature. The project is quite technical and requires someone who doesn’t shy away from asking questions.
3+ years in Agile delivery roles spanning both Scrum Master and Project Manager responsibilities in software engineering programmes
Hands-on ADO experience: board ownership, backlog management, and sprint reporting — not just board visibility
Demonstrated experience in producing executive-level status reports
Proactive risk communication to senior stakeholder management skills
Experience coordinating delivery across multiple concurrent squads simultaneously
Strong English skills — capable of producing client-facing narratives

Strongly Preferred
Early AI adopter, a preference for automating workflows where possible
Experience in enterprise platform modernization, ERP transformation, or large-scale SaaS migration
Basic technical literacy in cloud-native stacks (.NET, Azure AKS, CI/CD) — enough to understand blockers without needing them explained

Nice to Have
Certified Scrum Master
Experience with cross-timezone delivery
Familiarity with AI-assisted delivery tooling

About the Team
GlobalLogic is leading the modernization of our client’s enterprise ERP platform — one of the largest transformations of its kind, spanning 3,500+ legacy desktop applications migrating to a cloud-native, multi-tenant SaaS architecture.

Role Summary
This role is a hybrid of Scrum Master and Project Manager, embedded within the SaaS Modernization workstream. The Agile PM owns the full sprint execution cycle across four concurrent squads (Backend, Frontend, DevOps/Infrastructure, Architecture) while simultaneously managing reporting and stakeholder communication. The right person is equally comfortable running a grooming session and drafting a client-facing status update.

Key Responsibilities

Agile Ceremonies & Squad Facilitation
Own and facilitate all Agile ceremonies across all SaaS squads: sprint planning, daily standup, backlog grooming, sprint review, and retrospective
Prepare materials in advance; capture and distribute action items and decisions
Coordinate cross-squad grooming sessions where squads share dependencies
Manage sprint capacity planning — availability, onboarding overhead, leave, and meeting load

Board & Backlog Management
Own the board: maintain hygiene, enforce definition-of-ready and definition-of-done, and ensure work items are correctly structured across Epics, Features, Stories, and Tasks
Produce sprint burndown, velocity trend, and cumulative flow reports to inform planning
Maintain a rolling 2–3 sprint lookahead; keep the backlog roadmap view current

Cross-Squad Coordination
Act as the primary coordination point between GL squads and client counterparts for planning and ways-of-working alignment
Manage onboarding integration of new team members into delivery rhythms
Handle day-to-day coordination with client technical stakeholders

Risk Management and Reporting
Track dependency resolution with client-side teams, escalate overdue items
Flag relevant risks — scope changes, resource gaps, milestone slippage — with sufficient lead time for commercial action
Produce the internal reports content summary that feed into client-facing leadership reports.
