The ideal candidate will be a hands-on expert in CI/CD principles, Source Code Management, and leveraging tools like Jenkins and GitHub Actions to build scalable, reliable, and secure deployment systems. This role is crucial in optimizing our development lifecycle and ensuring rapid, high-quality releases.

Required Qualifications

  • 2+ years of professional experience in a DevOps, CI/CD, or Software Release Engineering role.
  • Deep expertise in setting up and managing CI/CD tools, specifically Jenkins (using Jenkinsfile/Pipeline as Code) and GitHub Actions.
  • Proven experience with Source Code Management tools, advanced Git commands, and modern branching strategies.
  • Hands-on experience with an Artifactory solution for managing and deploying binaries.
  • Proficiency in at least one scripting language (e.g., Python, Bash, Groovy).
  • Strong understanding of containerization (Docker) and orchestration concepts (Kubernetes).
  • Excellent communication skills in English, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-cultural teams in the LATAM and India regions.

Nice to Have

  • Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure).
  • Working knowledge of Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform or CloudFormation.
  • Prior experience in a consulting capacity or mentoring other engineers.

職務内容

CI/CD Pipeline Design and Implementation:

  • Design, implement, and maintain robust, end-to-end Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) pipelines using tools like Jenkins and GitHub Actions.
  • Automate the build, test, and deployment processes for various applications across different environments (Dev, QA, Staging, Production).

Source Code Management (SCM) & Branching Strategy:

  • Define and enforce best practices for Source Code Management, including Git branching strategies (e.g., GitFlow, Trunk-Based Development) to ensure clean, auditable, and traceable code changes.
  • Manage and configure Git repositories (e.g., GitHub, GitLab) and integrate them seamlessly with the CI/CD platform.

Artifact Management:

  • Manage and maintain Artifactory solutions (e.g., JFrog Artifactory, Nexus) for storing, versioning, and distributing binary artifacts and dependencies.
  • Implement controls to ensure artifact integrity, security, and traceability throughout the pipeline.

Automation & Scripting:

  • Develop automation scripts (e.g., Bash, Python, Groovy) for routine operations, infrastructure provisioning, and configuration management.
  • Introduce and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) practices (e.g., Terraform, Ansible) to manage cloud resources consistently (Cloud experience in AWS, GCP, or Azure is a plus)

Monitoring, Logging, and Alerting:

  • Implement and configure monitoring, logging, and alerting tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, Splunk, ELK) to ensure high availability and performance of applications and infrastructure.
  • Perform root cause analysis on production issues and implement long-term preventative measures.

DevOps Culture and Consulting:

  • Act as a subject matter expert and consultant to the development and operations teams, mentoring them on DevOps best practices and tools.
  • Identify bottlenecks and areas for process improvement in the software delivery lifecycle.
