Engineering Manager – Boomi Professional Services owns the end-to-end delivery of Boomi implementation for typically 3-4 engineering Scrum teams. Leverages best-practices on Boomi implementation in solving integration and other challenges, using automation and next-gen solutions. Works with Product Engineering and Product Management Leadership, in ensuring best practices are adhered and respective schedules and quality are on track as per defined release cadence. Owns and tracks Technical roadmap, engineering metrics and leads the Scrum-of-Scrums, release management, etc.

 

 

Should have 12+ years of experience working in product-engineering or engineering services organizations
Should have worked in product development/implementation organizations with a proven experience of developing scalable product implementation solutions in an agile/scrum/kanban environment
Candidate should have strong integration and API management working experience, with 4 to 5 years of experience working in Boomi implementations
Candidate should have a strong understanding of iPaaS, Boomi’s product capabilities and implementation nuances with a point of view around capabilities of top few iPaaS products
Candidate should have working-experience around solutioning, architecting and designing of integration solutions involving Boomi
Should have handled engineering delivery for 3-5 Scrum teams, as an engineering/PS leader
Strong technical expertise in the applicable technical areas (Example: .Net, AWS/Azure, DevOps, etc.), with good understanding of architecture, design patterns, coding best-practices, testing and release methodologies
Strong leadership, people management, stakeholder-management and organizational skills
Excellent communication, articulation and presentation skills

職務内容

  • Understanding customer challenges, do high-level fit-gap analysis and mapping them to product capabilities to be able to come up with the most optimal implementation solution addressing client challenges
    Overall responsibility of ensuring the engineering deliverables by the Scrum teams, are on schedule and on quality, adhering to the engineering standards, best-practices and metrics
    Work with Engineering Leaders and Architect, in defining the Technical roadmap, technology modernization initiatives and also in reducing the overall Tech Debts of the applications/products owned
    Work with the Team Leads in streaming the capacity planning and developing schedules for the Scrum teams, in alignment with the product and technical roadmap
    Ensuring the defined quality standards on the end-to-end product implementation life-cycle stages
    Strong project/program management skills to successfully delivery implementation projects/programs with end-to-end delivery ownership.
    RAID management skills to manage the risks, issues, dependencies and actions appropriately
    Measuring, tracking and reporting of the engineering metrics for the Scrum team, on quality and productivity, and drive continuous improvement initiatives
    Analyzing existing operations and scheduling training sessions and meetings to discuss the gaps and improvements
    Encouraging innovation and high-performance work-ethics in the Scrum teams owned
    Create and execute appropriate quality plans, project plans, test strategies and processes for development activities in concert with business and project management efforts.
    Build, Guide and Coach the Scrum Teams on following agile best-practices and principles to deliver high quality deliverables, facilitate and support all scrum events
    Creating and influencing innovative solutions that meet both functional and non-functional (ex. reliability, availability, performance & security)
    Keeping up-to-date with latest industry trends, upcoming technologies and developments.
    Mentoring the teams in handling the aspirations of the individual team members and guiding the team in training and upskilling initiatives
