We are seeking a highly skilled Java Architect with strong experience in Azure Cloud to design, develop, and implement scalable, secure, and high-performing enterprise solutions. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in Java technologies, microservices architecture, and Azure cloud-native services.

Key Responsibilities

Architecture & Design

Define end-to-end architecture for enterprise-grade applications using Java and Azure.

Design scalable, resilient microservices and API-based architectures.

Lead technical design sessions and develop architecture artifacts (HLD, LLD, sequence diagrams, deployment models, etc.).

Evaluate and recommend new tools, technologies, and frameworks for solution improvement.

Cloud & DevOps

Architect and deploy applications on Microsoft Azure, leveraging PaaS and IaaS services.

Utilize Azure services such as App Service, AKS, Azure Functions, Azure SQL, Service Bus, Event Grid, and Storage Accounts.

Collaborate with DevOps teams to implement CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps or GitHub Actions.

Ensure compliance with security and governance standards on Azure.

Development Leadership

Provide hands-on technical guidance to development teams in Java, Spring Boot, and REST API development.

Establish coding standards, best practices, and code review processes.

Mentor and guide developers, ensuring adherence to architectural principles.

Performance & Quality

Conduct performance tuning, scalability testing, and security assessments.

Define non-functional requirements (NFRs) and ensure they are met.

Stakeholder Management

Work closely with business and product teams to align technology strategy with business goals.

Communicate architectural vision and technical decisions effectively to all stakeholders.

Required Skills & Qualifications

Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.

Technical Expertise:

12+ years of experience in Java/J2EE development.

5+ years of experience designing and implementing microservices with Spring Boot, Spring Cloud, and REST APIs.

5+ years of experience architecting and deploying solutions on Microsoft Azure.

Strong understanding of containerization (Docker, Kubernetes/AKS).

Experience with event-driven architectures, messaging (Kafka, Service Bus), and API Gateway.

Solid understanding of RDBMS (Azure SQL, PostgreSQL) and NoSQL (Cosmos DB, MongoDB).

Knowledge of DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines on Azure.

Familiarity with security frameworks (OAuth2, OpenID Connect, JWT).

Soft Skills:

Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.

Excellent communication and presentation abilities.

Ability to lead teams and collaborate across departments.
