You will join a team dedicated to the Post-Order Fulfillment & Customer Experience ecosystem. Our primary goal is to provide transparency and reliability after a purchase is made. We design and maintain critical microservices responsible for real-time order tracking (accessible to both end-customers and dealers), transactional communication (email dispatch), and automated document generation (PDFs). The project operates in a modern, cloud-native environment (Kubernetes, ArgoCD), utilizing an event-driven architecture (Kafka) and the latest Java standards (17/21) to ensure high performance and scalability.

The primary objective of this role is to provide comprehensive and self-managed support for the software services that handle orders once they have been placed by the customer. The engineer will be part of a team dedicated to delivering solutions for order status tracking—accessible by both customers and dealers—as well as managing critical backend services for transactional email dispatch and automated PDF generation. This role requires balancing operational stability with the delivery of new features according to quarterly synchronization plans.

 

Required Skills Set
Technical Proficiencies (Core Stack):

• Backend Development: Advanced expertise in Java 17/21 and the Spring Boot framework.
• Data Management: Proficiency in both NoSQL (MongoDB) and Relational (PostgreSQL) databases.
• Message Brokering: Experience with Kafka for handling real-time data streams and status updates.
• API Design: Strong knowledge of REST and GraphQL for efficient data querying between front-end and back-end systems.
• Orchestration & Deployment: Hands-on experience with Kubernetes and ArgoCD for managing containerized applications and GitHub Actions for implementing robust CI/CD pipelines.
• Observability: Experience with observability tools, including creating and managing dashboards, analyzing logs, and configuring alerts to ensure system reliability and performance.

Professional & Soft Skills:
• Self-Managed Service: Ability to work independently and take full ownership of assigned work packages.
• Collaborative Communication: Capability to coordinate with internal teams to refine features and resolve integration issues.
• Documentation: Ability to deliver technical documentation in accordance with mandatory company and industry standards

Key Responsibilities
• Order Tracking Development: Build and maintain robust solutions that allow customers and dealers to monitor order status in real-time.
• Communication Services: Own and improve microservices responsible for sending transactional emails, ensuring high deliverability and reliability.
• Order Management: Implement and maintain order search features and BFF layers for order management solutions.
• Document Generation: Manage and optimize services dedicated to the automated generation of PDF documents (e.g., order configuration, product certificate).
• System Monitoring: Monitor alerts and dashboards to ensure production services remain healthy and stable.
• Stakeholder Alignment: Engage in continuous dialogue with cross-functional teams and product management to ensure technical solutions align with broader business goals.
• Agile Reporting: Participate in daily stand-ups to present status updates and discuss possible challenges. Take part in weekly planning sessions and biweekly retrospective meetings.
• Technical Excellence: Ensure all implemented solutions are approved by technical leadership and adhere to established architectural principles and mandatory industry standards.
