Our Client developed advanced medical technologies that were simpler, easier and safer to use. Our Client invests in research, new technologies and process improvements to stay competitive and to bring more value for the end-users. In addition, our client works with Hospitals, provides various “Hospital solutions” to support end-users and staff, collect medical data, make analyzes, predict emergency cases and send data.

必要条件

• Engineering an existing LabVIEW application to understand its architecture, logic, and dependencies.
• Document the system design, module behavior, data flow, and interfaces to ensure maintainability and knowledge transfer.
• Refactor and optimize legacy LabVIEW code to improve readability, maintainability, and performance while preserving functionality.
• Develop and execute unit and system-level tests to verify correct behavior after refactoring.
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams (developers, testers, and system engineers) to ensure alignment on requirements and expected outcomes.
• Identify technical risks, propose improvements, and support validation and verification activities.
• Ensure all work aligns with Alcon’s development standards, documentation requirements, and compliance processes.

職務内容

• Proven experience in LabVIEW application development, debugging, and testing.
• Strong understanding of software design principles, code modularization, and LabVIEW design patterns.
• Experience with reverse engineering and analyzing legacy LabVIEW code.
• Hands-on knowledge of hardware integration, DAQ modules, and instrument communication protocols (e.g., GPIB, RS232, USB, TCP/IP).
• Familiarity with source control systems (Git, SVN) and test automation frameworks for LabVIEW.
• Ability to create and maintain technical documentation for system design, code structure, and test results.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and quality.
• Experience working in regulated environments (e.g., medical, pharmaceutical, or similar) is an advantage.
