We are looking for a highly motivated Lead Embedded Test Engineer to join GlobalLogic, working for a client who is one of the world’s foremost companies in the home appliance sector, and the largest home appliance manufacturer in Europe. In this senior role based in Slovakia (ideally Košice or Michalovce), you will lead efforts around testing, automation, strategy, and technical ownership for projects developing electric motors, drives, and electronic components. You will have close interaction with the client and strong leadership responsibilities – if you are ready to drive test quality in embedded systems and make a real impact, we want to hear from you!

• 5+ years experience in embedded solutions and testing
• Experience creating test strategies and defining new test cases
• Solid understanding of unit testing and continuous integration
• Strong skills in Python and PyTest
• Good knowledge of Linux environments
• Experience with technical leadership: managing a team of testers
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field
• Strong communicator and team-player
• Responsible, proactive, good interpersonal skills
• Good command of English (written & spoken)
• Must be based in Slovakia; preference for candidates living in Košice or Michalovce

Nice If You Also Have:

• Previous experience in home appliance testing
• Familiarity with CI systems and creating Jenkins jobs 
• Knowledge of protocols like BackChannel, D-Bus

• Analyse technical requirements to define and write detailed verification test cases, test procedures, and overall test strategy
• Create and maintain traceability matrices
• Execute test cases, track and report on test results
• Identify, document, and manage issues; drive them through resolution; ensure clear documentation and reporting
• Ensure adherence to a defined Quality Management System
• Lead and mentor a team of testers; set quality goals and ensure consistent delivery
