We are seeking a talented Meteorologist to join our innovative teams, leveraging deep expertise in atmospheric science to enhance products, services, and research efforts that impact millions worldwide. In this role, you will work at the intersection of weather, climate, and technology, developing solutions for diverse challenges, from real-time weather prediction & climate-related features for our consumer products and research into climate resilience for our global infrastructure.

Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Meteorology, Atmospheric Science, or a closely related field; Master’s or Ph.D. preferred.

Experience:

– SQL and Python required 
– Proven experience in weather forecasting, climate research, or a related atmospheric science role.
– Strong analytical skills.
– Proficiency with meteorological data analysis software,
– weather modeling tools, and GIS.
– Familiarity with satellite and radar data interpretation.
– Excellent ability to interpret complex data, identify trends, and develop innovative solutions.
– Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey technical information effectively.
– Proven ability to work effectively in a collaborative, fast-paced team environment.

職務内容

– Analyze vast datasets from meteorological stations, satellite imagery, radar, and other sources to generate accurate short-term and long-term weather forecasts and climate projections.
– Collaborate with product managers and engineers to integrate weather and climate insights into client services other consumer-facing applications.
– Conduct research on atmospheric phenomena, climate trends, and the impact of human activities on the environment, with a focus on developing strategies for climate resilience and sustainability.
– Work closely with engineers, data scientists, and other researchers to build innovative tools and address complex weather-related
problems.
– Provide expert analysis and consultation on the application of meteorological information to various industry needs.
– Clearly communicate complex scientific findings and forecasts to both technical and non-technical audiences, both internally and
externally.
