GlobalLogic is looking for the Manager will oversee end-to-end operations for global GIS mapping production and real-time information workflows. This role includes managing multi-region teams, ensuring quality and on-time delivery within SLAs, optimizing processes, and maintaining operational continuity in a 24/7 production environment. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership capabilities, a solid technical understanding of GIS/mapping workflows, and experience managing high-performance teams across multiple shifts.
• 8–12 years of experience in GIS/Mapping or large-scale data production operations.
• Minimum 3–5 years of experience in people management or operations leadership.
• Strong understanding of map production processes, workflows, and related tool ecosystems.
• Excellent analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Proficiency in project management tools, dashboards, and reporting.
• Hands-on experience with continuous improvement frameworks (Lean, Six Sigma preferred).
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a 24/7 shift environment.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Geography, GIS, Engineering, or a related field.
• Prior experience managing real-time or critical operations (e.g., transport data, live map updates).
• Exposure to automation, AI-assisted mapping, or PEX-driven analytics is preferred.
• Willingness to work in a 24/7 rotational support model, including weekends/holidays as per rotation.
• Flexibility to manage global handoffs across APAC, EMEA, and AMER shifts.
• Oversee daily operations for GIS Maps–related workflows across time zones, ensuring 24/7 coverage.
• Manage resource allocation, productivity tracking, and adherence to SLA/TAT.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams (QA, PEX, Product, Engineering) to ensure operational continuity.
• Monitor real-time production metrics, identify issues, and drive prompt corrective actions.
• Lead and mentor team leads, supervisors, and analysts across multiple shifts and regions.
• Conduct performance reviews, skill assessments, and drive individual development plans.
• Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous learning.
• Manage new-hire onboarding, training alignment, and shift scheduling.
• Drive continuous improvement using data analytics, PEX insights, and root-cause analysis.
• Monitor and improve quality metrics (Accuracy %, Rework %, Productivity).
• Collaborate with PEX and QA teams to implement corrective and preventive actions.
• Support automation initiatives and process standardization efforts.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for client and leadership escalations.
• Participate in review meetings, provide dashboards, and present performance insights.
• Communicate project risks, mitigation plans, and delivery status in a timely manner.
• Publish weekly/monthly reports summarizing key metrics, challenges, and improvement actions.
