 Our client is a leading telecommunications and internet service provider based in Japan, offering a range of innovative solutions including network services, cloud computing and security solutions to businesses and individuals. By leveraging the technological expertise gained through providing Internet connectivity services, the company has expanded its business portfolio as a total solutions provider, offering outsourcing services that include cloud computing, Wide-Area Network (WAN) services, systems integration services, and more.

Moving all information online has necessitated expanding their cloud service capabilities to remain competitive with other leading market players in this field. A set of our projects will focus on extending these services’ capabilities and functionalities, including the development of new modules and more, to meet this demand.

  • BA/PO experience with a willingness to grow into a PM role.
  • Strong Japanese and English proficiency.
  • Experience with SDLC and Agile.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with Japanese clients.
  • Strong analytical and leadership skills.

Desired Skills & Experience:

  • Prior experience in consecutive interpretation (JP/EN) or translating technical documents.
  • Openness to working with and understanding Japanese corporate culture.

職務内容

Job Responsibilities:

  • Requirements & Analysis (Hands-on): Work closely with Japanese clients to clarify requirements and translate them into actionable tasks for the development team (acting as a proxy PO/BA).
  • Bridge Communication: Serve as the primary link between the client and the team. Facilitate 2-3 online sync meetings per week, ensuring no technical requirements are lost in translation.
  • Documentation: Review meeting transcripts/recordings and create concise “Minutes of Meeting” and project memos to ensure alignment.
  • Project Leadership: Develop, execute, and maintain the project plan. Monitor risks, manage scope, and tailor processes to achieve high-quality results.
  • Stakeholder Management: Establish and maintain trustful, effective communication with end customer(s) and GL project team(s).
    Reporting: Report project status, challenges, and opportunities for improvement to stakeholders in an organized manner.
