Our Client is a transnational company that owns numerous products within the Finance domain. The сlient platform combines market-proven payments and cash management with the customer experience and engagement capabilities that banks can use to manage their own branding, segmentation, and integration with related applications.

Our client is building a modern data platform with a PostgreSQL-based central storage, designed for both long-term archival and real-time analytical workloads. Core components include:

– A scalable data store for transactional data collation and historical retention

– Microservices that enforce variable data retention policies per tenant, with a customer-facing UI to configure those policies

– A continuous real-time pipeline that streams and transforms transaction data into an analytical format

必要条件

Technical skills

• 5+ years of Java development experience, with deep knowledge of Spring Boot and Hibernate/JPA
• Hands‑on experience with PostgreSQL, including schema design, partitioning, indexing, and replication
• Familiarity with streaming platforms (Apache Kafka, Flink, or similar) for real-time data ingestion
• Strong understanding of microservices architecture and building RESTful APIs
• Experience with Docker and Kubernetes for containerization and orchestration
• Solid grasp of CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, GitHub Actions) and Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, CloudFormation)
• Strong communication and collaboration abilities, with the ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams
• Track record in data migration projects, especially moving data from transactional OLTP systems to analytical store will be a plus

• Design & implement the PostgreSQL central data store, ensuring scalability, availability, and performance for both OLTP ingestion and OLAP querying
• Build and optimize real-time data pipelines (e.g., using Kafka, Flink, or similar) to extract, transform, and load transactional data into the central store
• Develop microservices for data retention logic, integrating with tenant configuration and exposing RESTful API

• Ensure data integrity, implement schema migrations, and automate deployment using CI/CD best practices

• Participate in architecture reviews, code reviews, and performance tuning
