About the Role
We are looking for a Senior Machine Learning Engineer to bridge the gap between Data Science and production-ready software. In this role, you will be instrumental in advancing machine learning models from the research phase into robust, customer-facing solutions.

You will work heavily within the Google Cloud Platform (GCP) ecosystem, acting as the connective tissue between Data Scientists and Software Engineers. If you have a passion for MLOps, distributed computing, and building the automated, scalable infrastructure needed to keep machine learning models highly performant in production, we want you on our team.

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, Applied Mathematics, or an equivalent quantitative field.
• Cloud Infrastructure (GCP): In-depth, hands-on knowledge of Google Cloud Platform services, with specific expertise in Vertex AI, BigQuery, and Dataproc.
• Big Data & Distributed Computing: Extensive knowledge of distributed computing concepts and big data technologies, including Apache Spark, Kubeflow, Apache Airflow, and complex SQL.
• Programming & ML Libraries: Advanced expertise in Python and industry-standard machine learning libraries (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch, scikit-learn).
• DevOps & MLOps: Extensive practical experience with GitLab CI/CD pipelines and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) best practices to automate model deployment.
• Bonus (“Nice to Have”): Previous experience working in Marketing Data Science or applying ML models to marketing tech use cases.

• Model Integration: Collaborate directly with software engineering teams to seamlessly integrate Data Science models into live, customer-facing products and solutions.
• Production Scaling & ETL: Work closely with Data Scientists to scale Extract, Transform, Load (ETL) workflows and models, ensuring they meet strict production requirements and SLAs.
• MLOps & Infrastructure: Support model development by enabling, configuring, and managing Google Cloud Platform (GCP) services.
• Tooling & Standardization: Develop leverageable MLOps toolsets and pipelines to standardize, automate, and streamline model implementations across the engineering team.
• Monitoring & Alerting: Design and implement comprehensive monitoring and alerting systems to track model drift, maintain integrity, and ensure ongoing performance.
• Model Optimization: Fine-tune and optimize existing machine learning models to achieve peak performance and accuracy while operating within strict resource/compute constraints.
• Lifecycle Management: Champion iterative development practices; thoroughly document and communicate progress throughout the entire Data Science product lifecycle.
• Continuous Learning: Stay at the forefront of GCP services, emerging ML technologies, and industry best practices for Data Science implementations.
