We are currently seeking a Networking Architect with expertise in MPLS-TP and communication systems to help design and implement high-performance networking infrastructure for grid automation and smart energy solutions.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Network Engineering, Computer Science, or related discipline.
• 5+ years of experience in network design and engeneering, including hands-on work with MPLS-TP in utility or telecom-grade environments.
• Solid knowledge of MPLS-TP OAM, label switching, LSPs, pseudo-wire emulation (PWE3), and transport tunnel provisioning.
• Understanding of industrial communication protocols: IEC 61850, DNP3, Modbus, GOOSE, and MMS.
• Experience with IP/MPLS, Ethernet switching, VPNs, VLANs, and QoS configurations.
• Familiarity with communication requirements in substation automation, SCADA systems, and energy IoT.
• Certifications such as CCNP/CCIE (SP or R&S), MEF-CECP, or IEC 61850 Certified Engineer are highly valued.

 

Preferred Experience:

• Prior work with transport networks in utility or industrial control systems (ICS).
• Knowledge of secure communication practices, including firewall configuration, IPS/IDS, and encryption.
• Hands-on with network simulation and configuration tools (e.g., Wireshark, GNS3, Cisco IOS, Junos).
• Exposure to 5G, LTE, LoRaWAN, or satellite technologies for wide-area energy communications.

職務内容

Position Summary:
As a Networking Engineer at our client, you will be a part of design and implementation of scalable, secure, and resilient communication networks for our energy automation devices and platforms. Your background in MPLS-TP will be instrumental in developing mission-critical, carrier-grade transport networks to support real-time operations across substations, control centers, and distributed energy assets.

Key Responsibilities:

• networks incorporating MPLS-TP for high-availability, low-latency data transport in power systems.
• Define network topologies for RTUs, IEDs, digital substations, SCADA systems, and IoT-enabled edge devices.
• Collaborate with system, hardware, and software teams to integrate MPLS-TP functionality into embedded devices and infrastructure.
• Develop secure and redundant network solutions adhering to NERC CIP, IEC 61850, and IEEE standards.
• Perform end-to-end system analysis, capacity planning, traffic engineering, and Quality of Service (QoS) configuration.
• Integrate MPLS-TP-based networks with other protocols and technologies (e.g., IP/MPLS, Ethernet, IEC 60870-5-104, GOOSE, MMS).
• Lead field trials, proof-of-concept implementations, and customer solution workshops.
• Develop documentation, test plans to support deployments and product lifecycle management.
