Qualifications:
● 2-4 years of experience in a data-focused test engineering or data quality role.
● Expert SQL Skills: Proven expertise in writing complex SQL queries, joins, and stored
procedures for data validation, profiling, and integrity checks within a SQL Server
environment.
● ETL & Data Pipeline Testing: Deep experience in testing data transformations and
workflows in a complex data pipeline. Hands-on experience with SQL Server Integration
Services (SSIS) is highly desirable.
● Proficient in Python: Strong Python skills are required for test automation, generating test
data, and validating data via API calls. Experience with Pandas for data manipulation and
pyodbc for database connections is essential.
● API Testing Acumen: Skilled in testing REST APIs to ensure data integrity through service
interfaces. Experience with tools like Postman or scripting API tests with Python’s requests
library is required.
● Strong Analytical Skills: Ability to understand complex data schemas and business rules
and translate them into effective, detailed test plans.
● Clear Communication: Effective at articulating complex data issues to both technical
(engineers, developers) and business stakeholders.
Desirable Plus:
● Familiarity with containerized environments (Docker, Kubernetes/OpenShift) and experience in the energy or utility sector. 

職務内容

Responsibilities:
● You work as a member of a multidisciplinary, global team to ensure the integrity and quality
of mission-critical planning data.
● You will develop data quality solutions by:
● Collaborating with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to analyze complex engineering and
operational data requirements and translate them into specific, automatable data quality
rules.
● Creating and managing complex test data sets (e.g., .prj, Excel, CSV files) designed to test
both valid and invalid data submission scenarios.
● Studying the end-to-end systems flow, from file submission to the final gold schema, to
identify and investigate potential data quality issues.
● You will design, build, and maintain an automated testing framework for the data ingestion
pipeline using SQL and Python.
● Design and implement test cases to validate data transformations within SSIS packages
and the Python/Java-based parsing and validation APIs.
● Perform rigorous data validation against the stage and gold database schemas to ensure
data lineage, accuracy, and completeness.
● Participate in code reviews of SQL stored procedures and Python validation scripts to
provide feedback and suggestions that increase quality.
