Senior UX/Product Designer – Strategic Experience Lead
We’re looking for a seasoned UX/Product Designer to co-own product vision with product and tech leadership, shaping unified, service-level experiences across our fintech ecosystem. You’ll translate business goals into outcome-driven roadmaps, lead continuous discovery, and deliver scalable design systems that connect strategy, user needs, and technology.
You’ll run research cycles, synthesize insights, and design adaptive, cross-platform workflows—validating with real-world data and ensuring high-quality delivery with engineering. This role demands expertise in enterprise-scale SaaS, fintech domains, and emerging AI-driven experiences, plus strong stakeholder engagement and storytelling skills.

Position Summary
We are looking for a Senior Product Designer to join our Usability Group, bringing strong research expertise and design intuition to craft thoughtful, data-informed experiences. Responsible for distilling complex insights into clear, actionable outcomes and shaping intuitive solutions that address both user and business needs. The role involves guiding strategic decisions, mentoring peers, and collaborating across functions to keep user experience central throughout the product lifecycle.

Key Areas of Responsibility
• Lead UX design and research across complex product areas, driving both strategy and execution.
• Collaborate with product and engineering teams to deliver innovative, user-focused solutions.
• Plan and conduct advanced user research (e.g., usability testing, interviews, field studies).
• Analyze research findings and translate them into clear, actionable design decisions.
• Design and refine wireframes, flows, and prototypes for intuitive, scalable experiences.
• Present and advocate for design solutions to peers and senior stakeholders.
• Mentor junior team members on design practices and research methods.
• Maintain and enhance design systems, ensuring consistency and usability across products.
• Promote cutting-edge UX practices, including AI-driven personalization and modern interaction models.
Product Strategy, Vision, and Planning
• Partners with Product Managers and Owners to shape the product vision by contributing design-led ideas grounded in user insights.
• Informs product roadmap via design thinking to create prioritized, scalable features for meaningful user experiences, alignment with business goals.
Customer Experience Research, Insights, and Execution
• Performs competitive analysis of direct / indirect competitors and monitors the market for new trends to inform the research and design process
• Conducts in depth customer / user research to capture, interpret, and use quantitative and qualitative insights to inform design decisions and check that end user needs are met
• Collects, analyzes, monitors, and reports on user feedback to identify key trends and opportunities Partners with enabling functions (e.g., marketing, sales, operations, etc.) to communicate new experience features and identify opportunities for optimization or improvements

Product Design and Development
• Translate user needs into effective product experiences by creating personas, journey maps, wireframes, and interactive prototypes; define layouts, flows, and interaction models for team-owned product areas.
• Conduct usability testing and iterative design within an agile environment, ensuring continuous feedback integration, design consistency, and adherence to standards across the product lifecycle.

Basic Qualifications
• 6–8 years of relevant experience after a Bachelor’s degree, or 2–5 years after a Master’s degree in a relevant field (e.g., Design, HCI, Psychology from premier institutes like NID or IIT).
• Proven experience in finance, banking, or fintech environments. designing for domains like payments, lending, investments, or B2B financial tools.
• Demonstrated success designing for SaaS product and multi-tenant platforms.
• Strong end-to-end product design expertise — from discovery to delivery.
• Skilled in user research methods: usability testing, interviews, surveys, and field studies.
• Proficient in translating research insights into intuitive design solutions.
• Expert in wireframing, user flows, interactive prototypes, and visual design.
• Deep understanding of design systems, accessibility, and responsive design.
• Confident communicator and presenter across cross-functional and executive teams
• Proficient in Figma, Sketch, Adobe CC, Axure, InVision, and prototyping tools
• Experience with Design Thinking, Lean UX, and agile product development.
• Comfortable working with product managers, engineers, and data analysts.
• Familiar with front-end principles (HTML, CSS) and design-development handoff
• Passionate about solving complex problems with scalable, user-centered solutions
• Keeps up with evolving UX trends, AI-enhanced personalization, and design innovation
• Fluent in English; clear communicator in cross-functional, global teams
