Description

We are looking for a highly motivated Engineering Director to lead delivery and engineering teams within our Energy domain. This role is a blend of technical leadership, client engagement, and deep domain expertise, aimed at delivering high-quality, scalable, and innovative client-facing solutions.

As a leader, you will oversee a  workforce of 80-120 professionals while managing 4–5 strategic clients simultaneously. You will work directly with C-level client stakeholders to drive the success of complex projects, primarily focusing on European, US and UK markets. A critical component of this role is utilizing deep understanding of AI and Generative AI (GenAI) to optimize project delivery.

Requirements

  • 15+ years in IT services is required.
  • A minimum of 8+ years in leadership roles, specifically managing large teams of 80+ professionals.
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.
  • Experience working with international clients, particularly in the UK and US.
  • Proven background in managing financials for both T&M and Fixed Price projects.
  • Understanding of AI and GenAI.
  • Experience in the energy domain is a plus.
  • Relevant certifications such as PMP, Agile, or ITIL are considered a plus.

Job responsibilities

  • Oversee large-scale, complex projects to ensure they are delivered on time, within scope, and on budget while meeting high-quality standards.
  • Bring hands-on experience in managing both Time & Material (T&M) and Fixed Price (FP) engagements, ensuring successful execution of complex transformation projects.
  • Take full ownership of project financials, including forecasting, budgeting, cost management, and billing for all assigned engagements.
  • Proactively identify project risks early in the lifecycle and implement mitigation plans to maintain quality and timeline integrity.
  • Lead, mentor, and foster a high-performing culture of autonomy and excellence for a team.
  • Collaborate closely with Sales, Finance, HR, and Operations to ensure smooth execution and organizational alignment.
  • Build and maintain strong, trust-based relationships with senior client leaders (VP level and above) to ensure outcomes align with business goals.
  • Support organizational growth by identifying new business opportunities and driving innovation.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for escalations, ensuring client concerns are addressed quickly and effectively.
  • Lead internal initiatives focused on the latest trends in technology and modern client delivery approaches.
  • Drive continuous improvement by optimizing workflows, resource utilization, and overall team productivity.
