Requirements

«ERP & AR System Proficiency: Strong, hands-on experience utilizing a major ERP system (e.g., NetSuite, SAP, Oracle) and/or specialized A/R management software to process cash receipts, manage the A/R aging report, and post adjustments.
Cash Application & Reconciliation: Expert ability to accurately and efficiently apply high volumes of cash, wires, and ACH payments, including complex reconciliation of payments to open invoices and resolution of payment discrepancies.
Collections Strategy Execution: Proven technical skill in using collections modules or dedicated software tools to systematically manage collection queues, document collection efforts, and implement tiered communication strategies.
A/R Aging Analysis: Proficiency in generating, analyzing, and interpreting the A/R aging report to identify high-risk accounts, calculate bad debt reserves, and provide detailed reporting on Days Sales Outstanding (DSO) trends.
Billing System Interaction: Familiarity with the invoicing/billing system to quickly investigate client disputes related to invoice accuracy, ensuring seamless collaboration between collections and the billing team.»

Job responsibilities

Accounts Receivable (AR) and Collections Specialist to join our fast-paced Finance team. This vital role is responsible for managing the integrity of our A/R ledger, ensuring timely cash application, and executing professional collections activities across our B2B client base. The ideal candidate will be adept at high-volume reconciliation, possess strong communication skills for complex client negotiations, and maintain meticulous records using modern ERP and A/R management systems. This position is key to optimizing our working capital and minimizing bad debt exposure.
