Description

Seeking a Hands-on Frontend Architect with dual expertise in React and Angular to unify our frontend strategy. You will oversee a diverse portfolio of applications, ensuring that whether a team is using React’s functional patterns or Angular’s structured, battery-included approach, the underlying architecture remains consistent, performant, and scalable. You will be the primary decision-maker for shared component libraries, cross-framework state strategies, and enterprise-grade deployment pipelines. Unlike a traditional architect who might only produce diagrams, a «hands-on» architect spends significant time (often 30–50%) writing core code, building Proof of Concepts (PoCs), and solving the most complex debugging challenges.

Requirements

Technical Skills
State Management
React: Mastery of Zustand, Redux Toolkit, and the native Context API.
Angular: Proficiency in NGRX, NGXS, or the modern Component Signals pattern.
Reactivity Patterns
React: Expertise in functional reactivity using Hooks (specifically useEffect and useMemo).
Angular: Deep understanding of RxJS Observables and asynchronous data streams.
Routing & Navigation
React: Experience with React Router or Next.js file-based routing systems.
Angular: Mastery of the Angular Router, including advanced Guard and Resolver patterns.
Styling & UI Architecture
React: Use of Styled Components (CSS-in-JS) or utility-first frameworks like Tailwind.
Angular: Implementation of Scoped CSS, SASS, and component libraries like Angular Material.
Data Fetching & API Integration
React: Standardized fetching using Axios or server-state management with React Query.
Angular: Expertise in the built-in HttpClient utilizing Interceptors for request/response logic.

Qualifications
Dual-Stack Expertise: 12+ years of frontend experience, with at least 3 years of deep, professional experience in both React and Angular.
Monorepo Mastery: Proven experience managing large-scale codebases with NX, Turborepo, or Lerna.
RxJS Proficiency: Deep understanding of reactive programming, as it is the backbone of Angular and often used in complex React data streams.
Enterprise Patterns: Experience with Module Federation, Lazy Loading, and Tree Shaking in both environments.

Job responsibilities

Key Responsibilities
1. Framework Strategy & Integration
Unified Ecosystem: Architect a Monorepo strategy (using NX) that allows React and Angular applications to share logic, types, and design tokens seamlessly.
Migration & Coexistence: Lead the strategy for modernizing legacy Angular (or AngularJS) apps into React, or vice versa, using Micro-frontends to allow side-by-side execution.
Best Practices: Define «The Standard» for both:
React: Functional components, Hooks, and Server Components (Next.js).
Angular: RxJS-based reactivity, Dependency Injection, and Signals.
2. Shared Component Architecture
Framework-Agnostic UI: Lead the development of a design system using Web Components (Stencil.js or Lit) so that UI elements can be used in both React and Angular apps without duplication.
State Orchestration: Design data-fetching layers that work across stacks, utilizing TanStack Query (which supports both) or standardized Redux patterns.
3. Hands-on Engineering
The «Bridge» Code: Write the core configuration for build tools (Vite/Webpack) and CI/CD pipelines that handle the specific nuances of both React’s build process and Angular’s AOT (Ahead-of-Time) compilation.
Performance Auditing: Use Chrome DevTools and Lighthouse to profile «Change Detection» bottlenecks in Angular and «Re-render» issues in React.
