Description

Our team builds the mobile apps drivers use every day for navigation and routing. Because these tools are used in the real world, they have to work reliably across different devices and locations. We back our apps with scalable services and vehicle integrations that turn data into smart routing and location insights. We care deeply about clean engineering and making the app better every day.

The Role We are looking for a Mobile Developer to help build our next-generation Android and iOS apps. You will help design and build these apps using Kotlin Multiplatform. Your goal will be to share core logic across platforms while making sure the final experience feels native, fast, and easy for drivers to use.

Requirements

• ~10 years in software engineering, with at least 2-3 years in a technical lead or high-level senior capacity
• Expert-level proficiency in Kotlin, Kotlin Multiplatform and Jetpack Compose
• Experience in developing end-user applications
• Deep understanding of Android platform architecture, lifecycle management, and system constraints
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to balance technical excellence with business requirements
• Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate across teams.
• Proactiveness, ability to lead a standalone team in close cooperation with customer
• Experience with navigation services (nice to have)

Job responsibilities

• Design fast, efficient Android apps that use very little memory so they run smoothly on vehicle hardware
• Lead the development process with a focus on driver safety, using code reviews and testing to prevent glitches or distractions
• Mentor junior developers to help them improve their technical skills and follow best practices
• Use SDKs to build mapping and location features that work perfectly with vehicle dashboard systems
• Keep up with the latest Android tools, like Kotlin and Jetpack Compose, to help the team make the right technical choices.
