Description

The project is in telecom sector and involves collecting, processing, and analyzing large volumes of network performance data from various sources, including mobile devices, CPEs, scanners, and third-party testing tools. Project features with complexity of its data sources, the volume of data processed, and the need for real-time analysis.

Requirements

  • Hands-on experience in Device and Network Quality Assurance, with a strong focus on mobile network technologies.
  • Proven experience in field testing of mobile devices in live commercial networks.
  • Solid understanding of 4G LTE and 5G NR architectures, including modem behavior and signaling flows.
  • Experience in 4G/5G device modem log validation and testing (QXDM, QCAT, or similar tools).
  • Knowledge of VoLTE, VoNR, EPS-Fallback (EPS-FB) call flows and failure scenarios.
  • Experience with LTE ↔ 5G handover testing, including NSA/SA scenarios.
  • Practical experience testing Android and iOS devices, including OS-level and network-related behaviors.
  • Ability to analyze complex network issues and correlate device behavior with network conditions.
  • Experience working with multiple device vendors and chipset platforms is a plus.
  • Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and documentation skills.
  • Ability to work independently in the field and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.

Job responsibilities

  • Perform field testing of mobile devices in live 4G/5G networks to validate network and device behavior.
  • Execute and validate VoLTE, VoNR, and EPS-Fallback call scenarios across different network conditions.
  • Conduct LTE/5G mobility and handover tests, including idle and connected mode scenarios.
  • Collect, analyze, and validate 4G/5G modem logs to identify root causes of call drops, data issues, and mobility failures.
  • Test and verify Android and iOS devices for network performance, call stability, and data reliability.
  • Collaborate with engineering and device teams to reproduce, analyze, and resolve issues.
  • Validate modem behavior against network specifications and operator requirements.
  • Document test results, findings, and defect reports with clear technical analysis.
  • Provide feedback and recommendations to improve device performance, network interoperability, and user experience.
  • Research approaches to solve unfamiliar problems
