Description

We are looking for the Systems Administrator who will configure, deploy, maintain, and support the organization’s Learning Management System (LMS) infrastructure with integrated Content Management System (CMS) functionality. This role focuses on technical implementation, system integration, data migration, and ongoing platform maintenance to ensure optimal performance, security, and user experience in a corporate training environment.

Requirements

  • Experience: Minimum 6 years of dedicated LMS Administration experience.
  • Technical Standards: Deep expertise in SCORM, xAPI (Experience API), and LRS (Learning Record Store).
  • Multimedia Knowledge: Understanding of video hosting (Vimeo/Wistia/Kaltura) and how bitrates affect LMS performance.
  • Problem-Solving: Advanced ability to debug XML, HTML5, and JavaScript issues within e-learning packages.
  • Communication: Ability to explain technical limitations and possibilities to non-technical business leaders.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with Single Sign-On (SSO) implementation
  • Proficiency in CSS/HTML for LMS interface customization.
  • Experience managing «Global» instances with multi-language support.

Job responsibilities

1. Content Integration & Technical Deployment

Manage the end-to-end upload and configuration of SCORM 1.2/2004, AICC, and xAPI content.
Optimize the delivery of video-based learning and software simulations, ensuring cross-browser compatibility and mobile responsiveness.
Collaborate with the E-learning Development team to test content in «Sandbox» environments before live deployment.

2. System Integration & Troubleshooting

Lead the integration of the LMS with third-party tools (e.g., Zoom/Teams for VILT, HRIS systems like Workday, or Content Libraries).
Act as the Tier 3 technical lead for resolving complex playback issues, tracking errors, or data discrepancies within simulations.
Perform regular system audits to ensure data integrity and platform stability.

3. Reporting & Data Analytics

Build custom reporting dashboards to track learner progress, simulation completion rates, and assessment scores.
Utilize SQL or LMS-native reporting tools to provide actionable insights to stakeholders.
Monitor system performance metrics and suggest optimizations for bandwidth-heavy video content.

4. User & Platform Governance

Manage user roles, permissions, and security groups.
Oversee the platform’s version updates, performing UAT (User Acceptance Testing) for new features or patches.
Create and maintain technical documentation and «How-To» guides for both admins and end-users.
