Description

Globallogic is seeking a detail-oriented MIS Analyst to oversee and enhance our company’s information systems. The ideal candidate will analyze business data, develop reports, and implement improvements to ensure efficient data management and decision-making processes.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Proficiency in SQL, Advanced Excel, and data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, Looker Studio etc).
• Understanding of Python Basics would be an advantage.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to present complex data insights to non-technical audiences.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience working with large datasets and databases is desirable.

Job responsibilities

• Collect, clean, and interpret data from multiple sources, ensuring accuracy and consistency.
• Analyze complex datasets to identify trends, patterns, and insights that support decision-making.
• Develop and implement data collection systems and other strategies to optimize statistical efficiency and quality.
• Generate reports, dashboards, and data visualizations to communicate insights clearly to stakeholders.
• Collaborate with various teams to understand business objectives and design data-driven solutions.
• Monitor and assess the performance of key metrics, providing actionable insights and recommendations.
• Create and maintain comprehensive documentation of data analysis processes and findings.
• Work with data warehousing technologies, SQL queries, and other tools to extract data efficiently.
• Stay updated with industry trends, best practices, and advancements in data analytics and related technologies.
