Requirements

We are looking for an experienced and self-driven Senior Machine Learning Developer to be a team member in developing market intelligence tools at GlobalLogic. This position focuses on the advancement of applied GenAI technologies, aimed at crafting innovative solutions that significantly enhance business value and tech innovation in our company, helping project thought leadership for potential and existing customers. The successful candidate will possess deep expertise in machine learning, particularly in NLP, and a proven track record of developing impactful GenAI applications.

Required Skills and Qualifications
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, or a related field.
+7 years of commercial experience in machine learning development.
Proficiency in programming languages such as Python and frameworks/libraries like TensorFlow, PyTorch, LangChain, and Transformers.
Extensive experience with at least one hyperscaler (preferably AWS) for deploying ML models and applications.
Strong understanding of RESTful APIs for integrating GenAI functionalities into different platforms.

Familiarity with version control tools (e.g., Git) and ML development tools (e.g., Jupyter Notebooks, MLflow).
Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
An exceptionally motivated and self-organized developer with a strong aptitude for innovative and creative problem-solving.
Clear and “to-the-point” communication style.

Preferred Qualifications:
A PhD in Computer Science-related area is preferred but not required.
Specific experience with LLMs is preferred, but not strictly required.
Active engagement in GenAI/ML tech communities (GlobalLogic internal or external) or contributions to open-source projects in the AI/ML domain.
Solid knowledge of full-stack development, including HTML, CSS, JavaScript, React, Node.js, MySQL, and MongoDB.

Job responsibilities

• Design, implement, fine-tune, optimize, and train GenAI models and systems.
• Lead the research and development of new GenAI algorithms and architectures, focusing on areas such as multimodal AI, autonomous agents, and advanced AI reasoning capabilities.
• Collaborate with a cross-functional team to integrate prototype solutions into existing platforms and workflows, impacting customer projects and internal GL AI transformation.
• Help develop monitoring, observability, and evaluation metrics for genAI applications, identifying areas for improvement and implementing updates.
• Stay at the forefront of GenAI and machine learning advancements to ensure our approaches and technologies remain cutting-edge.
• Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation on AI model architectures, deployment strategies, and performance evaluations.
• Help implement security measures to protect sensitive information processed by GenAI-based systems.
