Description

We are looking for a passionate and experienced Ruby on Rails Developer with 3+ years of hands-on experience in building scalable web applications. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing, maintaining, and optimizing backend systems using Ruby on Rails while collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software solutions.

Requirements

Required Skills & Qualifications

3+ years of experience working with Ruby on Rails.

Strong understanding of Ruby programming language.

Experience with RESTful APIs and MVC architecture.

Proficiency with SQL databases such as PostgreSQL or MySQL.

Experience with Git version control.

Familiarity with background processing tools (Sidekiq, Resque, Delayed Job).

Knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and frontend integration.

Experience with API integrations and third-party services.

Understanding of software development lifecycle and Agile methodologies.

Job responsibilities

Key Responsibilities

Develop, test, and maintain scalable web applications using Ruby on Rails.

Design and implement RESTful APIs for frontend and third-party integrations.

Collaborate with frontend developers, product managers, and designers to deliver new features.

Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code following best practices.

Optimize application performance, scalability, and security.

Work with databases such as PostgreSQL/MySQL and perform database design.

Integrate third-party services, APIs, and background jobs.

Implement automated testing using RSpec, Minitest, or similar frameworks.

Troubleshoot, debug, and upgrade existing applications.

Participate in code reviews and agile development processes.
