Description

The project is a platform that allows the easy issuance and trading of assets, particularly illiquid securities. It will provide an interface for issuing new wallets, transferring currency, and validating payments to and from these gateways. These exchange/payment gateways enable the client and its vendors to have access to each other’s systems. It also offers identity verification, authentication, and authorization for individuals and entities. Combining Know Your Customer (KYC) with Know Your Wallet™ (KYW) and Know Your Transaction (KYT) capabilities, the system can stand alone, supplement, or replace legacy credentialing services.

 

We are on the lookout for an experienced Senior Apigee Technical Engineer to become a key player in our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will bring a wealth of technical expertise in the Apigee platform, with a proven track record of overcoming its limitations and enhancing its capabilities. This role is critical for developing, managing, and optimizing sophisticated Apigee-based APIs and products within our complex digital ecosystem. And having outstanding experience in writing JavaScript (JS) for API proxies and shared flows is highly desirable. An in-depth understanding of Infrastructure as Code (IaC), especially Terraform and Terragrunt, is highly valued and preferable.

Requirements

• Deep technical expertise in the Apigee platform with a proven ability to overcome its limitations and maximize its potential.
• Strong background in API development and management, with a focus on designing scalable and secure API solutions.
• Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to innovate and implement strategic solutions.
• Proficiency in Agile methodologies and a track record of working effectively in Agile Scrum environments.
• Demonstrable experience in developing analytical dashboards and reports and implementing successful API monetization strategies.
• Outstanding leadership and communication skills, capable of mentoring team members and collaborating with various stakeholders.
• Having a good understanding of Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools, especially Terraform and Terragrunt, for efficient resource management is preferred.

Job responsibilities

• Design, develop, and manage robust Apigee API solutions, overcoming platform limitations and ensuring scalability and efficiency.
• Leverage extensive Apigee platform knowledge to optimize API performance, security, and reliability.
• Architect and implement innovative solutions to extend the capabilities of the Apigee platform within our organization.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate Apigee solutions with existing systems and infrastructure.
• Lead the evaluation and adoption of new tools, technologies, and practices to enhance the Apigee ecosystem.
• Conduct thorough analysis and troubleshooting of complex issues, providing strategic solutions to enhance system performance and reliability.
• Mentor and guide team members, sharing knowledge and expertise in Apigee platform technologies and best practices for API management.
