Description

We are seeking a Senior Software Engineer with deep expertise in GraalVM to design, develop, and optimize high-performance, cloud-native applications. In this role, you will lead architecture decisions, implement polyglot solutions, and leverage GraalVM features such as Native Image, Truffle framework, and JVM optimization techniques to deliver scalable and low-latency systems.

This role is ideal for engineers passionate about high-performance computing, runtime optimization, and modern cloud-native architectures.

 

Requirements

Qualifications:

• 5+ years of experience in backend or platform engineering
• Strong expertise in GraalVM internals, Native Image, and JVM performance tuning
• Proficiency in Java and experience with microservices architecture
• Familiarity with containerization (Docker/Kubernetes) and cloud platforms
• Solid understanding of CI/CD and automated testing

Job responsibilities

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and develop microservices and backend systems using GraalVM and Java-based frameworks
• Build and optimize native images for fast startup and low memory footprint
• Implement polyglot solutions integrating Java (with dependencies to JavaScript, Python, or other languages)
• Tune performance, troubleshoot runtime issues, and ensure production reliability
• Collaborate with DevOps teams on containerization and cloud deployments
• Mentor junior engineers and contribute to technical strategy
