Description

An AWS-based internal data mesh platform with approximately 100 data products providing complete vehicle history and analytics. The platform handles several hundred TiB of data, supports over 1500 global users, and enables efficient evaluation of vehicle events to help improve quality processes and customer experience.

Requirements

Experienced Backend Data Engineer with expertise in designing, building, and maintaining large-scale data pipelines on AWS and Databricks. Proven success in delivering GDPR-compliant, cost-efficient data products using Glue, PySpark, and Python, integrated into modern data mesh architectures. Strong collaborator in cross-functional squads with DevOps, BI, and AI teams.

5+ years of hands-on experience in data engineering
Deep proficiency with AWS Glue (PySpark), Athena, Lambda, S3, DynamoDB
Strong experience with Databricks / Spark / Delta Lake / Unity Catalog
Experience with job orchestration tools (e.g. Airflow, native Glue triggers, Databricks workflows)
Git-based development workflows and CI/CD for data pipelines
