Senior Test Automation Engineer with C# IRC274129

Description

We are looking for a Senior Test Automation Engineer with C# to join one of our teams collaborating with one of the biggest companies in the flow measurement industry. We are cooperating with a global leader in measurement instrumentation, services, and solutions for industrial process engineering. We provide process solutions for flow, level, pressure, analytics, temperature, recording, and digital communications, optimizing processes in terms of economic efficiency, safety, and environmental impact.

In this project, you will build and operate a C#/.NET test automation and integration platform for FDI (Field Device Integration) packages across diagnostics and asset management tools.

We are open to candidates from all over Poland, but we prefer those based in Kraków (project location).

Only an employment contract (umowa o pracę) is possible, no b2b option.

Requirements

• Experience of 5+ years in C# (.NET Framework / .NET / .NET Core) development and test automation, 
• Deep proficiency in C# for building automated test frameworks (NUnit or similar), 
• Hands-on GitLab CI/CD, 
• PowerShell scripting for build, environment setup, tooling and test orchestration, 
• Solid requirements analysis and translation into maintainable test cases & suites, 
• Designing, implementing and maintaining automated tests (unit, integration, regression), 
• Experience with test automation frameworks and drivers (e.g. Selenium), 
• Strong English communication skills (written and verbal), 
• ISTQB or similar certification (optional).

Job responsibilities

• Translate functional requirements into maintainable C# automated test cases. 
• Design, implement, and execute automated suites in GitLab CI/CD. 
• Perform targeted manual exploratory / confirmation testing where automation is not yet feasible. 
• Analyze failures, triage defects, and create clear bug reports with logs, screenshots, and other evidence. 
• Review requirements, test plans, and merge requests to ensure testability and coverage. 
• Collaborate closely with developers, QA, and DevOps to improve reliability and shift quality left.
