Degree in computer science, software engineering or a comparable qualification
• You already have several years of SRE experience
• Solid programming skills in Java, Golang, or other programming
language, with a good understanding of software development best
practices.
• Experience in developing automation scripts and tools using languages such as Go,
Python or Bash
• In-depth knowledge of container technologies (Docker) and container orchestration
(Kubernetes)
• Experience with modern observability approaches and tools for proactive system
monitoring
• Knowledge of system hardening and security aspects such as IAM, secret
management and encryption
• Proven skills in working with version control systems such as Git and collaborating in
agile teams
• Design, develop, and deliver the required software engineering that reduce operational
burden by automating complex and repetitive tasks
• Own deployment, availability, reliability, performance and customer escalation targets for
Critical Environment Telemetry solutions
• Implement detailed measurement to promote transparency
• Work with our platform team to design and implement robust monitoring, logging and
alerting systems based on, for example, Prometheus, Grafana and the ELK stack.
• Proactively identify and reduce issues through design, testing, and implementation of
software-based solutions
• Drive efficiencies through software improvement and root cause analysis resulting in
service delivery, maturity, and scalability
• Involvement in the development of self-healing mechanisms and optimisation of the
deployment process
