Retool Front-End (FE) Software Developer

We are looking for a Retool Front-End Software Developer to join our engineering team and help build and maintain internal tools and user-facing applications that drive innovation and improve operational efficiency. You will use Retool, React, Angular, and AWS QuickSight to build custom dashboards, support business decision-making, and deliver seamless end-user experiences.

As part of a collaborative agile team, you’ll work closely with engineers, product managers, and stakeholders to define business needs, implement scalable software, and ensure smooth system integrations. Requirements

Qualifications

Diploma or degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or related field, or equivalent experience.

3+ years of professional software development experience.

Technical Skills

Strong knowledge of Retool, React, and SQL.

Experience with low-code/no-code platforms (Retool preferred).

Experience with BI tools (AWS QuickSight, Tableau, Power BI).

Familiarity with Angular and building front-end web applications.

Understanding of relational and non-relational databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, DynamoDB).

Experience using tools like Jira, Confluence, and Git.

Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and deployment workflows.

Bonus: Experience with microservices, event-driven architecture, ETL pipelines, or Infrastructure as Code (e.g., Terraform).

Soft Skills

Strong analytical and debugging skills.

Effective communicator and team player across technical and non-technical teams.

Experience mentoring junior developers is a plus.

Self-motivated, organized, and able to manage priorities independently.

Job responsibilities

What You Will Do
Build and Maintain Software

Use Retool to develop internal tools and applications that meet business requirements.

Build BI dashboards and data visualizations using AWS QuickSight.

Work closely with Product and Engineering to refine functional and technical requirements.

Write unit, integration, and end-to-end tests to ensure software reliability.

Document solutions clearly for future reference.

Contribute to process improvement in a fast-paced Agile environment.

Testing, Deployment, and Support

Conduct manual and automated testing to ensure application quality.

Manage deployments and monitor post-release issues.

Troubleshoot and fix bugs, assist in patching, and apply updates.

Provide support and training to internal users on Retool tools.

Recommend improvements to platforms and processes based on user feedback.
