Requirements

General Requirements:

• Business-level Japanese (daily communication with Japanese customer), Fluent in English as a must
• 3+ years of experience in the relevant engineering field
• Technologies may include: React, Angular, Java, Spring Boot, .NET, Python, Node.js, PostgreSQL (experience with one of the mentioned technologies will meet the requirement)
• Proven track record of working closely with customers across multiple SDLC stages
• Experience in or exposure to financial technology, banking systems, or fintech products
• Strong communication skills and ability to work across cultures and time zones
• Self-driven and team-oriented with a strong quality mindset
• Candidate must be in EU or be eligible to work in EU

Job responsibilities

To support our expanding international projects, we are keen hiring Japanese (and English) speaking engineers across Europe to collaborate closely with customers and internal teams in both Japan and Europe.

 

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain robust and scalable financial software systems
• Participate in all stages of the SDLC, from requirement gathering to production deployment
• Work closely with Japanese and European customers to define technical solutions
• Build responsive UIs and performant backend services
• Collaborate with QA and AI teams to ensure holistic product development
• Engage in architectural decisions, code reviews, and documentation
